We invite you to visit one of the most beautiful regions of Poland, which is the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. Its advantages are unique places with resort qualities that use the resources of the environment, cultural heritage and tourist attractiveness. The region has an extensive health offer for locals and visitors from home and abroad.
We place in your hands the Pomeranian Medical Directory (PIZ), which contains comprehensive information about the health care offer in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as the most important places that provide assistance in emergency situations. This is the first regional report of its kind in Poland. Here you will find information about typical medical institutions, as well as objects and tourist attractions with descriptions of selected city parks.
PIZ includes places that save health (hospitals, clinics), help restore it (rehabilitation centers, hotels), or prevent various diseases and help in self-healing (green areas and parks).
In the first part we invite you to visit our city parks, which are the perfect place to stay healthy and relax in the midst of nature. Parks have devices that you can use to improve your physical fitness and actively spend time with your children. Some have health-promoting infrastructure, such as tetanus or health pathways.
In the second part we will show the most visited attractions of our province through the prism of the needs of people with special health needs.
The third part This document is a guide with information about which accommodation facilities we can use for healthcare services. We also included data on salt pools in our region.
The last part The guide is useful in situations of emergency need to use medical services, both for local residents and tourists, as well as for pets.
We have made every effort to ensure that the information collected by the end of August 2024 and contained in the study is reliable. We plan to update it regularly in the coming years.
We hope that PIZ will prove to be a valuable, useful and possibly inspiring publishing house for Pomeranian residents and visitors visiting this beautiful and unique region.
