From 19 August to 16 November, every day between 7:00 and 15:00, systematic observations of four groups of birds are carried out here: birds of prey, falcons, pigeons and corvids. The collected data is sent to national monitoring databases and helps scientists track changes in populations and migration patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tower stands on a dune, above the treetops. Its platform offers a view of the Vistula Lagoon and the Baltic Sea (or, more precisely, the Gulf of Gda\u0144sk, for geography enthusiasts). It is a place where it is easy to find peace and quiet \u2013 you cannot hear the city, there is no rush or distractions.
Many visitors say that this is where they truly relax \u2013 all you need to do is sit down, look around and let nature work its magic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can also join Drapolicz's team. You don't need to be an ornithologist \u2013 all you need is curiosity and a willingness to learn. Volunteers help with counting, learn observation methods and, over time, learn to recognise birds in the field. This is a unique opportunity to see what real fieldwork looks like and learn to look at nature more closely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
